My wonderful Nieces!

I must start by saying PLEASE GO VOTE FOR ME!!!

I absolutely adore my nieces!! And you can tell from my layouts, I think they are wonderful!  I also love them because it gives me the ability to use those wonderful feminine, girly kits that my designers sometimes create, and well are so hard to use when you have boys!  An excellent example of this is Girlie With A Touch Of Girlie by Tinks Trinkets.

This feminine kit definitely APPEARS to only work for girl or feminine layouts… And man did it work for this beautiful layout of my niece Cynthia.

Please go Vote; THEN come meet my last designer

Ok, so I have been digi-scrapping for a while now!!  And as I learn and grow; like with every hobby; there are toys you want to buy and play with.  My most coveted item right now is a tablet.  Preference would be for a Bamboo Craft, but at this point any tablet would be nice.  Well, in my adventures in the digiscrapping world, I have discovered there is a monthly challenge over at PENSCRAPPERS where they provide you with a free mini kit each month (and a theme) and you are asked to create a layout.  The layout with the most votes at the end of the month wins a WACOM tablet!!  Yes, seriously a free Wacom Tablet… Now hopefully the prize is international, because I kinda forgot to check (I was so seriously excited), and there is no terms or conditions link.. But with out further ado here is my layout:

I think I did pretty good, I used no templates or anything.. From my own head!  Now I need you to go and VOTE!!  I only have until August 31st to collect votes, and well I don’t think I am popular enough but darnit I am giving it a go… After you vote come back and meet:

Lets Meet Jolly Kids Designs

So we are nearing the end of the meet and greet of my designers.  As you can see I have quite varied taste, and in most situations I am working with designers because we have become friends, and I am proud to say there is nothing that will change that (at least at this time).  My second last designer is a VERY new addition to the people I work with.  I have only had the opportunity to work with Marie for about 2 months now.  Basically, like RebeccaB, I loved working with her stuff while she sold at My Life and Scrap (I think I used all her kits at that time) and decided to ask to continue on with her when she chose to leave.  She is creates 100% child friendly kits, which makes her stuff so fun to work with!  So without further Ado:

Twinkle Gal Witch… New Release

Ok, so today’s designer was an easy one to pick because she just released a new kit.  I have been working with this designer now for about 4 months or so.  I asked to be on her CT even before she posted her ad because I love her kid friendly hand drawn elements.  Honestly I have no idea if she is drawing the elements herself or not, but the magic she has at pulling the kits together… Just amazing..  Therefore without further Ado we meet:

RebeccaB Designs

Rebecca is a sweet designer who I know sells at My Life and Scrap and Angel Baby Scraps.  I think we joined up maybe at the very most 6 months after she joined the family at My Life and Scrap.  I was actually using my coupons to pick up her kits every month, so seemed like if I was going to advertise her kits anyways might as well make it official. Thanks for Popping By – Yet another of my Designers

It was really hard to pick which designer I wanted to highlight next.  All three of my last few designers are pretty new additions  and have some really unique things they bring to the table!  But in the end I chose to introduce to you Rebecca.  I have worked with her just that little bit longer than the others, and she has a unique style that I adore.

So with out further ado, Lets meet:

RK Designs

Rebecca sells her materials at Designs in Digital. And although she has recently delved into the world of templates, I haven’t actually played with any of hers yet.  I actually joined her team because her soft and cuddly, absolutely gorgeous handmade kits. Read the rest of this entry »

Let’s Meet Another Designer

My next designer is the third designer that I joined teams for.  Zeee is an awesome understanding person, who has definitely put up with my moodiness as I quit and rejoin her team on what appears to be a regular basis.  But if you could see some of the incredible kits she makes, and her attention to detail who could blame me?

Blog Reformatted – On we go!!

If you are new to my blog welcome!  If you are old, then sit back and enjoy.  My blog has gone through so many edits, from a personal journey blog, to a scrapbooking blog, to a creative team blog.  To tell you the truth I don’t know where my blog will lead me next which is why it is Much Ado about Nothing…  Stay tuned, let’s explore my journey together.

For my faithful followers you will see that once again,  I have reformatted my blog.  This format is more beautiful, simple and easier for me to manage without my husband’s help. Most items you see with this blog are created by the Zexee free blog template, which just suited what I wanted.. Any other changes or materials you see are from my original Designer and Friend Melissa of Missy’s Bits (links on the left hand side).

ADSR Ends

Wow, it has been so long since I posted.  But the amazing DigiScrapping Race ended on Sunday.  And man it went out with a BANG!!  There was huge controversy over challenge 12 which was to create a card, and it turns out this challenge was not the last road block.  I had a blast during the race and hope life will allow me to return next year.

Here are my layouts:

Number 11 (Sweet Tomato Humpty Dumpty Challenge):

I love Sweet Tomato Desingns.

Here is my card for Challenge 12:

I need to do a little enabling with this one… The kit I used was Aventura Mejicana by Rucola Designs:

I absolutely love this kit!  So much in fact that I created another layout.. Now just to get Brian to take me on a vacation to make complete use of the kit properly!!

It is so wondeful that my kids are willing to come along so I can get such great photos!

If you are a designer click the image and go sign up, I want to work with your materials next!!!

And the Amazing Digi Scrapping race continues.  Challenge number five was a relatively easy challenge.  Using the information provided we had to create a layout about CHOCOLATE.. This went well with the new kit I have been playing with.  Here is my layout!

Chocolate Pudding

Then for Challenge six we had a road block.  I chose to do this one, since my partner is not one who likes to scrap with photos of herself.  Check out the instructions!!  They were detailed and LONG… But finally I got the layout done, after a rush about for an old picture of me, a rush about to find 10 words, and a lack of time due to sick kids, tired hubby, messy house, and well life in general.  Here is my end result.

That completes this week of competitions.  Oh, and I made it to week 2 of the scrap off at MLAS.. Here is layout # 2 for that one…

Next Month I get to host 3 challenges, two at Designs in Digital and one at My Life and Scrap.. I am so excited.. So come be challenged and have fun with me!

Catch you on the flip side!
