Can you guess what it is??  You probably can from the title of my post!!  My GodDaughter Camryn Emelia Zallas arrived sometime around lunchtime on Wednesday, September 1st.  She is so beautiful I just had to make a layout, and the tones and colors of the first pictures ever taken by her wonderful mommy, were a perfect match for the kit we had assigned for this challenge.

Once I knew what pictures to use I went hunting for my inspiration.  This is a no template allowed challenge!!  This layout just screamed at me:

I thought it would be a wonderful, subtle way to highlight all the wonderful elements to the kit we were assigned to work with.  I then took the kit preview:

To inspire me further.. But I was so surprised, when in the end, my layout became something that was completely my own!!

So without further ado, here is my entry:

I absolutely adore my nieces!! And you can tell from my layouts, I think they are wonderful!  I also love them because it gives me the ability to use those wonderful feminine, girly kits that my designers sometimes create, and well are so hard to use when you have boys!  An excellent example of this is Girlie With A Touch Of Girlie by Tinks Trinkets.

This feminine kit definitely APPEARS to only work for girl or feminine layouts… And man did it work for this beautiful layout of my niece Cynthia.

But don’t think I only scrap the youngest.. I have also had fun scrapping her older sisters!

I can assure you that I plan on making LOTS more layouts of these wonderful little girls.. And their newest sister to be arriving ANY day now!!

I think I did pretty good, I used no templates or anything.. From my own head!  Now I need you to go and VOTE!!  I only have until August 31st to collect votes, and well I don’t think I am popular enough but darnit I am giving it a go… After you vote come back and meet:

Lilleyscrap Designs

Lilley is my newest designer.. Only been working with her for about a week, but I am in heaven!!  She makes the most elegant and versatile templates.. She also makes kits but I have not been able to use any of them to date.  So far I have only be able to use Simply Mapped: Templates 06:

As you can see they are so gorgeous, and well check out my layouts.. Me and this designer just meld baby!!

All I can say is that I see magic ahead, while working with this designer.  Right now I am only a guest CT, but if we can make it work Lilley said I could trying going on permanent.  Keep your eyes open, definitely more to come!!

Jolly Kids Creations

Jolly Kids Creations can be found at both Designs in Digital and Stuff to Scrap (it is under JK Creations in the designer menu here).  I can promise that you will find some of the sweetest items.  Her kits have basic balance papers in fun colors and designs, matched with cute and funky cartoons, stickers, and elements.  But don’t be fooled by everything I am saying, because she also produces some beautiful elegant kits like Diopside Chic and her August BAK.  Today I want to focus on her AUGUST GRAB BAG:

This is actually a large compilation with two distinct but co-existing kits within it and some added elements to play with.  One is a fun loving kit and one is a very lovely kit.  Here are my layouts:

RebeccaB Designs

Rebecca is a sweet designer who I know sells at My Life and Scrap and Angel Baby Scraps.  I think we joined up maybe at the very most 6 months after she joined the family at My Life and Scrap.  I was actually using my coupons to pick up her kits every month, so seemed like if I was going to advertise her kits anyways might as well make it official.

Her most recent kit is a sweet Girly kit, with just that little touch of magic.

Twinkle Gal Witch was actually a challenge for me at first since I have boys, but then I came across some perfect inspiration and my layouts just came together.

This kit was fun to work with, but to tell you a little secret, I preferred working with her kit Little Guy Magic.  It was just more masculine and easier to match to pictures I had.  Also if you look at the link (I got to QC this one, so had it before EVERYONE else).

I made one layout with this kit, but it got some rave reviews, especially since I used a template from Designer Survivor!

Rebecca sells her materials at Designs in Digital. And although she has recently delved into the world of templates, I haven’t actually played with any of hers yet.  I actually joined her team because her soft and cuddly, absolutely gorgeous handmade kits.

Her most recent kit Sweet Summer, is an excellent example of her work:

As you can see, her kits have a beautiful cuddliness… But I can’t help but go on and on about her kid kits.  One that I worked with recently and LOVED is Celebrate:

As you can see, the attention to details in both elements and papers is to be applauded!  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT BEAR.  And you can find him on many of her kits, it is kinda like a trade mark!

Z Pink Boudoir Designs

You can find Zeee’s kits at My Life and Scrap, A Moment in Scrap, and DigiScrapbook Mania.  Her most recent kit, was such a change for her.. These definitely are not the usual colors, but I love the strength and power in this kit!

As I stated, both mom and daughter design and sell, but WOW, talk about different design styles.  So let’s start with the first, the Mom:

Tiger Lily Digis

Lisa is the designer for this label, but she is also the owner of Designs in Digital, and yes that is how we met, but no that is not why I design for her.  Lisa is my first Template designer!  When I first started out I HAD TO use templates.  I had so much to learn and templates just made the design process easier as I figured out shadows, styles, layers, etc.  Lisa makes the most wonderful, fun and simple Templates.

These are her newest template set QUAD FUN TEMPLATES.  As you can see they are simple and enable you to play, here are a few layouts I made with these awesome templates and using her kit Fiora Dal Cuore.

Her templates and her beautiful, elegant kits were a great place for me to start from.

On the other hand, my creative team work for her daughter Jessica has been so different.  I am more of a casual Creative Team member for Jessica, and generally only help out if asked or she creates an awesome kit or template set I just simply must have!!  Jessica designs under the name:

Tinks Trinkets

Although I have not spent a tonne of time working with all her kits (as she is one of my most recent having only joined her team in the last 2 months), recently I have volunteered to help her out because I LOVE her cute kits and bright colors!!  Her most recent kit is especially a favorite of mine:

This kit Aliens Under the Bed came as a total surprise for me!!  Usual when you are a CT member you get told when kits are going to be released, but I think Jessica just knew this kit rocked and would do well, so for this kit I actually asked her if I could play with it.  And man did I have fun!

Missy’s Bits Designs

I have worked with this designer now for more than a year.  I am proud to say I am her Creative Team Manager and love working with every kit she has made.  Like me she has grown so much!!  And the fun thing is I got to be here with her almost every step of the journey.

She has two stores one at Designs in Digital and one at Enchanted Studio Scraps.

At Enchanted Studio scrap, once a month she posts a free mini kit for the Pixie Pouch Challenge.  These kits are only posted for a short two week period of time, but so worth picking up.  The following layout I made using the August Pixie Pouch AND her template entry for Designer Survivor, which I am proud to say she is still competing and has  made it to round 4!

As you can see she creates beautiful stuff, that perfectly can enhance any picture or theme.  She keeps her kits simple sticking to the basics, you know those items you need to pull up for every speed scrap!  He colors are muted, and work well for any sex or style.

A beautiful baby collab she created with Ali Sarah Digiscraps, is a perfect example of what she can do!  Here are a couple of my layouts to inspire you further.

Well, there is a new designer over at My Life and Scrap, her name is Jamie Dell Scraps and I have been given the thrill and honor to design for her. Lucky me that I had the perfect photo for this kit. You know the one that you are not sure how you are going to make a layout, but you know the minute you see it you need to make a layout.

So before I show my layouts (I actually made two and couldn’t decide , the two) Here is the wonderful kit she has given me to play with. It will be released really soon at My Life and Scrap so keep your eyes open for it!!

It is called Boogie Beach Bash and is perfect for those summer photos at the beach, in your backyard.. Or just drinking on your patio!!

Here are my layouts.. I would love to hear from you which you like best.

First is one I made using a template from none other than Tiger Lily Digis.. She has gone on a template designing spree and I must say these are some of her best yet!! This was made using Template #5 from her Template Pack #26.

This second one is made using a much simpler template. This template was a freebie from HRoselli.

As you can see simple or complex this kit can make some awesome layouts!! I cannot wait to see your vote as to which one is your favorite!!
